“ Bumsan Organic Milk Bar in Koreatown is a must-visit spot for soft serve lovers! We came on a Friday night and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too busy. The service was friendly, and the staff took the time to explain their offerings. They proudly serve premium 100% organic soft serve ice cream from Korea's leading organic dairy producer, Bumsan Farm Co. As first-timers, we followed their recommendation and tried the true milk flavor and have it swirled with matcha. The true milk flavor was absolutely delightful--creamy, fresh, and rich in its simplicity. The matcha had a more subtle taste compared to other places, but it complemented the milk flavor well. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and a great introduction to Bumsan's high-quality organic ice cream. Definitely worth a visit for a sweet treat in K-town! ”
“ I went to check out this place on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately one of the machines was down, so one of the few flavors they had left was the True Milk one. And LET. ME. TELL. YOU. I consider myself an ice cream enthusiast and have tried my fair share of ice cream shops, from Cold Stone in Miami Lakes, FL all the way to Salt & Straw in Anaheim, CA. If there is ice cream, I have probably been there, and tried every flavor you could imagine. AND YET. This place blew me away just with one thing: The ice cream is as close as perfect as it gets. It is not too cold, not rock hard and difficult to eat, it is just plain and simply a delicious frozen treat. The amount of sweetness is perfect. The taste and texture is perfect. The softness is perfect. The shop is small and the clerk was super friendly and nice. It is also a clean establishment and there is a nice set of a few chairs and tables outside. AND YET. What stayed with me was none of that. It was how incredibly good the plainly-named and plain-looking True Milk was. Also, the sugar cones come in different flavors. I had the Oreo one with some crushed Oreo crumbs as a free topping. AND YET. None of that truly matters. Go and experience True Milk for yourself. I had been ingesting FAKE MILK my WHOLE LIFE apparently. because True Milk is a truly remarkable experience in of itself. ”
“ Pretty solid soft serve spot in ktown~ I came here with a few friends on a Friday night around 8:30 pm and there wasn't a line (yet)! The line did get quite long around 9-10ish. This hole in the wall is bright, vibrant and colorful. The interior only fits a few people at a time but there are outdoor seats and tables available. As for parking, there's a small lot located right behind it, or if you're lucky you can street park. Staff were very patient and offered each of us to taste various samples. Too bad the two flavors I wanted to try the most--matcha and pink guava--were both out //: I guess that means I'll have to come back next time for those! As for what I actually ordered: Korean Coffee soft serve - this was apparently a new flavor. It was a bit too sweet for me, and tasted like typical coffee ice cream but creamier. The cone wasn't extraordinary or anything. I did sample the taro beforehand and that was tasty but somi somi's taro soft serve has a bolder taro flavor IMO. Overall, I think this is a fine option for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth craving around this area. ”
“ I've always wanted to try bumsan since college because I've heard so many good things about this place, and I'm so glad I've finally made a trip to here! I came here on a monday night after dinner, and there were a few people. I got the milk and matcha swirl and it was really delicious! The soft serve was creamy and smooth, and it was definitely pretty sweet but the flavors are amazing. I also liked how it came with one topping. The price is around $7+ but that's pretty average for ice cream these days. I hope to come back one day to try more things. ”

It's super clean, fresh, and you really can taste the milk cream and guava fruttiness. I love how they give you a free topping of your choice of cereal or sprinkles over it. Usually I would get it in a cone since their cones are so crisp and adds extra flavor but this time I opted for their cup. Perfect portion sizes too! ”

I have an addiction for soft serve and this place always hits, super big plus that it is open later as well (my sweet tooth is 24hrs) I usually get the coffee flavor but I appreciate their rotating seasonal flavors as well. There's some limited seating outside and it's pretty hard to park, but a good quick pit stop by foot! ”

Limited flavors but it's really all you need. I got matcha and milk with the fruit pebbles topping on a cone. I find myself thinking about this dessert in my down time it's that good. Quality of ingredients really shine! Parking is tough as it's in Little Tokyo but if you're in the area anyways it's worth the stop. ”
